I used to call you solace I used to call you home You're just a broken promise But where else can I go? Did you lose track of time? Did you wake up a little too late? Well, I'm already gone, my darling You're far too far away I'm already gone, my darling Is this where I will find myself? Somewhere here in the dark Searching for some new kind of hope In satellites and stars (satellites and stars) No matter where I run to I cannot forget your face But there's no way back to you, oh darling You're far too far away (Did you lose track of time? Did you wake up a little too late? No way back to you, oh darling You feel so far away) Feel so far away I just couldn't leave you Even where I could not stay But there's no way back to you, my darling You're far too far away There's no way back to you My darling You're far too far away ...Far too far away ♥

I miss when we could play pretend The world was limitless You took my imagination And you left it Cause I made you my safe place My Sanctuary Without you, you’ll take away All of that from me Don’t move away The dark will take your place Cause I made you my safe place My Sanctuary.

I'm shaking, hearts on fire I'm waiting, tethered to the wire So jump if you're gonna jump Dive right into it If you think you've had enough Don't be afraid of it There's magic in the night Darkness is my paradise And music is my suicide (4x) I'm shaking, hearts on fire I'm waiting, tethered to the wire So jump if you're gonna jump Dive right into it If you think you've had enough Don't be afraid of it There's magic in the night Darkness is my paradise And music is my suicide (3x)

Lonely stars in deep black skies Reefs fish used to roam Empty forests culled of trees Forgotten what is home Come home Lost my way Can’t turn back Where are you? Help me find my home Cracked paths eaten up by moss These cloudless skies turn black Dying flowers starved of light How can I go back To home? Wandering Dark fills my being I’ve lost way Don’t know if I have home

about

The craft had finally left Earth, finally left the wasteland that the people had made it. And now it was in space.

The pilots plotted the craft to their first location whilst scientists focused on their work, examining samples, making sure everything they had done was correct. The craft flew past galaxies floating through the abyss like clouds of colourful smoke, stars lighting up the darkness which seemed to engulf them. The craft was a mixture of noises – machinery whirred whilst scientists chattered away to each other discussing everything from landing points for the craft to what sort of wildlife there would be, if any. Rich businessmen sat in luxurious rooms, paying millions of dollars just to be able to be the first to step on the new planet, and technicians always on hand to fix any problems.

Their destination was 180-XQ, a small planet located only 2.1 light years away from them. The atmosphere was perfect, the weather was slightly colder than usual, however humanity would be able to adapt to the climate quickly. Their only fear was a mysterious substance which seemed to float in the air – this substance was later found to be safe, and as the craft flew closer and closer to the planet all the staff on board had nothing but high hopes.

Finally, they could see it. A blur of greens and blues, far into the distance, a speck of colour filling in the black void around them. A new home.

Scientists rigged up their machines, using more advanced, newer technology to record the waves from the planet as they approached, learning more about the environment, the landscape, the creatures who live down below. The sounds you are about to listen to were these recordings – it is your job to find out whether or not this planet is safe to land on, whether or not humanity will be able to thrive or if it will perish, yet again.

The fate of the world is in your hands.
